Get to Know Me! Where Have I Been Already?

Since I’m always super nosy and want to know where other people have visited, I thought I’d start off my posts with a list of all of the countries I have visited to date! Other than being an opportunity for a good nosy into my travels, it’s also a good chance to tell you more about myself.

I have been very fortunate to have visited many countries (especially in Europe) when I was growing up with my family. Many stories to tell in each so please get in touch if you’d like posts on any locations!

By the time I reached my late teens, I had definitely been bitten by some sort of travel bug already. My first travel obsession was my Lonely Planet’s “The City Book”… I plotted various gap year adventures which never panned out but have been on plenty of adventures (many solo) since my journey to independence began at the age of 16!

After graduating from university I finally got to go on my ‘gap year’ before joining the rat race. It was during this year that I took 3 separate trips (totaling 20 weeks). One trip was to South America and the US, another to New York and Canada and the third trip to Australia and New Zealand. I definitely want to write more about these trips at some point to immortalize my experiences in some way! Since then, my case of wanderlust continued to worsen and I tend to spend every waking hour working out how to best maximize my days of annual leave. I think I do fairly well!
