A City in Pictures: Bangkok

A picture tells a thousand words right? I'm going to be taking a trip down memory lane, easily done by going through photo archives, to some of my past travels. I will tell the story with some of my favourite photos as a guide. I started with "Trip in Pictures" posts but now am looking back at some of the great cities I have visited... I hope you enjoy!

Bangkok is (currently, but not for long!) the only spot in Asia that I've visited. I squeezed it in on a layover to Australia (check out my Australia trip in pictures here) so only had a couple of days to do some sightseeing. Sightseeing primarily involved temple-hopping and trying not to drown in a pool of my own sweat!

Wat Pho was probably the most impressive... and I definitely filled my camera up here, as you can see above!

But in reality, every temple was impressive

Golden Mount was another highlight, and I'm proud I managed the steps in the heat.

Not pictured are some of the other tourist hot stops like Khao San road, but the temples really were the highlight for me. I also spent some time in the huge malls, partly because of the air conditioning. Thinking back to it, I don't know how I fit all of it into my short layover!

If for some reason you need more pictures, check out my Insta'd pics from the trip below!
